Just finished my Boxster Project - thoughts?.

So I have just finished my Boxster project, this is now pretty much my dream car...

KW Coil Over suspension

BBS rims

B&M short shifter with customer shifter

ECU flashed and bench tuned

Dansk headers

200 cell high flow cats

Performance muffler

Customer Extreme motor sport steering wheel

De Ambered

Color Bumperettes

New hood with glass window

Most of the work carried out by Butzigear (butzigear.com) who do amazing work at a very reasonable price......

Looks and drives beautiful.

Yes, wheels really set this one apart from others.

Can you provide some additional details on these? Model, size, website, etc?

Very nice !
How do the KW feel ?
How much HP with the tune ?

You just need spacers on the front

The KW's feel great huge difference from stock and now feels like its on rails around corners, wheels are BBS SR with 8.5 on the front and 10's on the rear. I didn't dyno the car pre and post so not sure of the figures. It feels considerably quicker through all the gears and more responsive. The upgrade were well worth the results!

Glad you like the KW's. Very expensive upgrade. Last week I installed a Fabspeed exhaust. Difficult to notice very much power increase, but sure sounds sweet!

Looks terrific! Too bad winter is coming here in the Northeast. Maybe you can bring it to next years PCA concours event usually held in Brookline Ma at Larz Anderson. We can trade stories.

I think I heard this exhaust on IG, and really liked it. I want to stop by this shop some day.

Kw-v3

The very first upgrade I did to my car were the H&R sway bars, followed by the KW-V3 coilovers, it is impressive how the KW's improve the feeling (and feedback) of the suspension.

Contrary of what I was expecting, even with 1" lower stance, the suspension feels more composed and smoother than the OEM struts/springs
If I ever get another Cayman (or Boxter), this would be the first mod I do to the car.

The only down side is that to adjust the rear shocks (top for rebound) you have to remove the strut plastic trim covers..

Wheels look great. What offset are they and what size tires do you have on them?

Thanks.

Are you getting any wheel rub?

Some people probably think I always say this but I think some door decals would tie the wheels together. There's a light blue 911 on the Butzigear Instagram with the font that I think would look great, it's not as "busy" as the traditional PORSCHE lettering with the triple stripe. It's a cleaner look that would pair well with your non-aero lowered profile.
I also wonder how the Boxster would look with the Porsche lettering across the front of the bumper. Might be cool idea for our photoshop experts.

All I know was the rims were 8.5 front and 10 rear. Drop Dave at butzigear a quick mail and he can give all the details...
