If I think it's too hot or cold...88F or higher with sun blazing, or below 65F, I put the top up cause I don't want to be uncomfortable just for the sake of having the top down. The car is still fun to drive with the top up. When I see folks with their top down below 45 degrees or so, I think they're a bit too desperate to show others that they have a convertible.

Wow, that's one of the reasons I'd have a hard time leaving Oklahoma City. Moderate weather most of the year and the fact I paid less than $200,000 for a two story house on the lake. The typical "first house" here runs in the $80,000-$120,000 range (which seems outrageous to me considering 10 or 12 years ago it was nearly half that). It's cheaper to have a decent house in a nice area than to rent an apartment in most cases.

I also forgot, no tornadoes or hurricanes either, just a rare earthquake once in a blue moon

And you have plenty of water, not too many people or very much traffic, no crime and low taxes, right? And those rare earthquakes are never very big are they ?
