I had a Beck replica 550A Spyder like this one in the mid 90's.Owned it about 5 years.Darker Grey with dark red interior. Early chassis # 156.

Absolutely the most unique car I have ever owned.Tremendous go! I'm glad I got the Beck as I felt he was the originator of the best replica. His quality was everywhere on the car.

when I drive my Boxster, I'm reminded of the Beck!

Garage
A few months back I was passing through a small town and parked was a 550 spyder (Probably a replica). I am still kicking myself for not pulling up in front of it and getting pictures of the Then and Now
Every time I drive through, I'm looking for that picture

Very nice, I always wanted one but never bought one, probably because of the price. I'm glad to hear the Boxster reminds you of it, they do look similar, I know that was the intent. James Dean paid around $7,000 for the car in 1955 that was a lot of money for a car back then, and that's what I paid for my 99 Boxster a few months ago 60 years later. I know the original 550's are worth a fortune now.
