What color Should I paint my 2000 986?

Here's what the car looks like now ... well, Kinda ... After four years in my warehouse it has suffered several dents, dings, etc ...

I began 'restoring' the car a year ago by replacing pretty much everything that's attached the engine and anything that has to do with ride quality. Interior work includes painted carpet, restored the leather seats, etc.
I already have, ready to install, new clear headlights/taillights (OEM), and new wheels.

So it's time to paint ...
The car was originally Arena red. I painted it Flame Red Metallic back in '07.
(I have a trucking company and that was our fleet color.)

I was going to stick to the Flame Red Metallic, or maybe Orient Red ...

but now, I'm not sure if I should change it completely ...

So the big question is:
If you could paint your Boxster ANY color, what would choose?

Blue with big metal flake or Norton Fireflake blue
Or maybe a root beer metallic, or champagne pearl.

ORM. But then, I am a little biased. Lapiz & sea foam are also quite nice, but man, what a lot of work to do the job right in changing color. I've always wanted to see one in ice blue metallic.
Maybe Biarritz since the interior looks black, and you live in TX. Don't know about your top color. It is possible to stay within the Porsche palette and still have something fun (sports car), unusual (yours) and classy(Porsche).

yeah...but really? Dark blue is the right answer if you are tired of red.

Lava Orange. Stunning color in person - pics don't do it justice. It has a vibe and depth that my Orange just doesn't have.

Woodhouse has a 911 GTS Cab in Lava Orange. That car talks to me. But the $150 gir sticker keeps me at bay.

I'll second the Lava Orange. I was in a dealership recently and they have a Carrera GTS with black rims. It is a bold car but wow and it is $9K cheaper.

Absolutely in love with Porsche grey black/guards red color combo since I first saw it. Such simplicity while being aggressive and not too flashy

Purple! There is some factory plum color, don't know if it's period correct or not but it looks great on those sexy Porsche curves!

I like all three of these colors - especially two of them.
