Hi,
There has been some speculation over the years about this Film, mainly that the Director did this himself with a Camera mounted on the front of his Mercedes.
But, as someone who used to live in Paris and knows this route very well, I can tell you that at posted speeds, it would normally take about 25-30 min. to cover it, not 9 min.
One thing is for certain, you could never make that run today at 7am or even 2am because the Traffic has multiplied about 10 times since this film was made. Fake or not (I'm still going with
as advertised), it's still entertaining to watch...
