A day in the life of a 986......

As my daily is approaching 150,000 miles, I thought I'd commemorate what the poor old car goes through on the average day.

And still kicking. Getting ready to take her through the twisty mountain roads to Eureka Springs for a 4 day weekend with the classic VW crowd. Was just given a clean bill of health by the shop. Here's hoping she makes the trip with flying colors.
Thanks for letting me share!

That's a tough day for any vehicle! What is with all of the dirt roads? Greek Style Spaghetti?

I love it. Thanks for sharing. What's up with all the red 911s? I never see any out here.

Thanks guys!
Yes, that is indeed an abandoned asylum. opened in 1898, the subject of a scathing expose documentary in 1953, and shut down about 40 years ago amid horrible conditions.

I don't end up on dirt roads everyday, but occasionally spend much of the day on them. It's because I often have to go to very remote areas depending on the photography project that day. I cross my fingers that the roads will be passable when I get there.

I see a surprising number of 911s daily, mostly downtown, NW OKC, and Edmond. I hadn't noticed, but most do seem to be red! LOL. Today I spotted a gorgeous white 991 Cabrio with blue top. It really stood out.
