part number?? compatibility? Headlamps clear porsche 986 boxster rhd

hello friends!!

I found on a local porsche specialist workshop the attached clear leadlights. The engineer told me that is suitable to mine 986 year 2004, I am not an expert but as you see I think is a pair of 996 is that true? are they compatible? what is the meaning of not DOT certified? are there original or not?
Their value for money as he is selling them for 400 USD.
Please provide your feedback!

Thank you

Could someone can clarify what is the meaning of

Porsche Boxster '04 weekend car
BMW X5 M sd '07 daily car

996 and 986 headlights are interchangeable. DOT = Department of Transportation.
They are original. Not DOT certified just means not for use in U.S. (probably because they are RHD).
