1999 Boxster wheel/Tire question. Will these work??

Wheel/Tire help for a 1999 Boxster

Hi. I'm looking at a set of rims and tires and would
like to know if there would be any issues mounting
them on my 1999 Boxster. Looks and performance??

17 inch factory Porsche 10 Spoke wheels

Fronts: 17 x 7. With 50mm Offset
Tires 205/50/17

Rears: 17 x 9. With 55mm Offset
Tires. 255/40/17

Thanks a lot !

For 986 Boxster and Boxster S, approved 17's are:

Front 7x17 ET 55, Backs 8.5x17 ET 48 or ET 50

Those wheels look like 996 wheels. The offsets are only off by 5mm on each wheel, with one set being pushed in by 5 mm and the other being pushed out by 5mm.

So I guess I don't have any information to add, but I did get your picture showing

Hopefully someone on here has run those wheels and can tell you.

Steve

I have those wheels on my car (but chrome) and I didn't experience any issue at all.
I have a 2003 base, if it matters.

I have those on my 2003 and also have a spare set of wheels from a 99. No problems with either on my base 03. I would assume they would work for you, but I'm no expert, just going on my experience.

Here's a wheel & tire calculator that looks pretty accurate per the wheel combos I've got:
