saw a Skyline?

Just saw a dark blue coupe, large wing, similar body shape to a G35 but badged Skyline GT-R. They aren't supposed to be here yet, are they? Not a bad look, but wouldn't trade the Boxster. Is this going to be a "performance" car?

GTR or a rebadged G35? Plenty of people badge their modified G35 as a Nissan Skyline.

Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

Its a ricer rebadge job. The new R35 GTR isn't even in production yet. But the "base" JDM Skyline is the G35.

Yeah, word is spring of '08. I was seeing if this was a rebadge job or possibly a Nissan test model. But chances are that wouldn't be badged. I know test models on the new Altima have already started to be spotted.

There are some existing Skylines on the road imported by tuners and they are wicked fast even without modifications.

I'd definately consider the new Skyline - but I also don't have $70k-$80k lying around either....

Pricing hasn't been set yet... If it is what the rest of the world has been paying for previous model GTR's, I would expect it closer to $50-60k.

The last R&T that covered the new GTR had it priced much higher. Probably because it won't just be an econobox with a high performance engine and suspension. Just what I've read....

Everything I have read is that it will be close to the $80K range so it can be the Infinity flagship car.

It's coming as a Nissan not an Infinity as first speculated. Read the press release I posted.
