Filming Porsche with Quadcopter

So any of you guys tried out these Quadcopters?

My wife surprised me with a DJI Phantom 3 Professional. I have been playing around doing some clips in 4k resolution.

Here is a YouTube video I just took - looks best in ultra high def. (realllly random music - drone doesn't record sound as you would just hear the motors and props)

Any ideas for some more shots? I need someone to fly the quadcopter while I drive the car

Think this would be interesting:

I would try keeping the car centered in the frame rotate as the car rotates/passes through a curve. Sort of the view from on a merry go round - the ride stays still but the scenery changes.

The other shot would be flying into a tunnel as the car enters the other end. Sound would be interesting to edit into that - the sound as the car enters, passes under then exits.

Nice shots! I have the Phantom II with the GoPro 4, gimbal setup. When I first got it I couldn't wait to get off work and fly that thing around. I haven't been flying it much lately, I guess I need to check out fun places to shoot without attracting so much attention. Have fun!

Thanks for the video, pretty neat stuff! These things are going to change the way we look at a lot of things, good and bad. I would love to have one to play with but I think the novelty would fade quickly for me. For professional videographers, this is a game changer. Have fun and I look forward to your driving video, but who do you trust enough to drive your car?
