rattle

i have a low speed rattle.sometimes behind my left
ear sometimes front left..nothing in the trucks and
no performance issues just annoying.71k miles on car
do shocks make any noise as they age ? tks

Try to change the control arms, it will eliminate the rattle.

Search on rattles and you will find it is a common problem. There are some good examples of fixes.

I too have seen much about these trailing arms and like clockwork, suffer from the 'rumble-(r)attling' from the rear. I have seen that properly torquing parts in that area can help the issue.

If others have found this to be true, what exactly should I check? I've read everything I can find on it but not many pictures pointing out the exact bolts.
