Radio/Navigation unit dead

I have a 2002 Boxster S
& after a flat battery I have no power to stereo/nav unit (see picture)
All fuses check out ok but I cant seem to see how to remove unit from dash to check fuse on the rear of the unit?
Can anyone help?

Thanks

On the single DIN they are spring loaded, but on my double DIN I have to take off the two plastic side panels where your black switches are on and a couple of screws on the mounting plate of the stereo then should slide out.

Something like below

Radio Dead

I managed to get the unit out & found the 10amp fuse at the rear of the unit had blown
I replaced the fuse but unit still dead?
Nothing on display
Is there a sequence of buttons to press to re-enable it??
I dont even get code message??

Any ideas?

What is the model number of the unit, I myself have never seen that HU, on other PCM units you press 1,4,8 but as yours only has 1 through 6 I doubt that would help ;-)

I don't see how a dead battery would affect power to the HU, I know on other OEM HU with power loss requires putting in the activation code again but in that case you still had power.

Is there a fuse on your amplifier maybe that has blown also?

-cheers

Sorry I dont know the model number its exactly as the picture but has phone built into the unit as well
It has BOSE amp & speakers so i'll check out amp & see if that has a fuse

But the unit has nothing on the screen so maybe its failed??

Thanks for your help

Regards

Kim
