Do you park in gear?

Depends. On an incline, brake and gear.

If parked at a level parking spot, besides a café, with nice girls in it, on a warm sunny day, I park it with its top down and in neutral so I can turn on the ignition before getting in

I had a few SAABs. I am still programmed to put it in reverse when parking. SAABs only let you remove the key when it's in reverse. Always use the parking brake.
