2005 Boxster Alarm

Just sold my 2005 Boxster. Buyer left the car in my driveway and is coming back this weekend to pick it up. Since I won't be home he took both sets of keys with him. I just noticed that the rear trunk lid is open. He must have hit the button on the remote by accident. I believe the factory alarm turned on when he locked the doors. If I close the trunk fully will the alarm be set off?

It shouldn't. But if it does.... hey you're getting rid of the car anyhow!

I just tried it with my Cayman and the alarm didn't go off.

When I locked it with the trunk unlatched, it beeped at me but locked.
