it could be just the pressure pads which are a good bit cheaper than the whole clutch assembly, when i bought my S i felt the clutch was very heavy, but coming from a tiptronic i did not have anything to judge against, so i call to my local porsche specialist and let him have a look, it happened that another S was there that day and after checking his clutch i went back to the dealer who i bought the car from and he kindly changed the pressure pads free of charge, all this happened within 4 days by the way!

hope you get sorted out, by the way i never heard of clutch wear guaranteed either.
