Location of Air Temperature Sensor for Intake Manifold

Hi Everyone,

Could one of you experts that know for sure please verify if the location of the Air Temperature Sensor for Intake Manifold is the one I circled in the picture attached please. Also, this is what controls the engine compartment fan coming on if the engine area gets hot is that correct?

Finally is it a simple matter to replace it by disconnecting the connector pulling out the sensor from the slot where it sits replace with new one and reconnecting?

Thanks in advance.
