Just curious: what is the difference between "plastic" and "composite"?
And, sorry, it's "two cents," not "two sense."

I'd never thought of "sense". It could also be "two scents". No wonder English is hard to learn. And composite implies two or more materials used together (e.g. fiberglass), plastic implies a single material injection molded to make the part.

Well the pump got lost in the mail, or so they say. They said they sent out another one yesterday so this will put me about a week of not driving the boxster. At least the weather sucks so its not as bad.

You can get the coolant at O'Reilly's. They had to have some sent over from a couple other stores, but sometimes it beats waiting for the mail.

The people I ordered my water pump took a week and a half to send it to me and it was the wrong pump (metal impeller). Sent it back and ordered one from Pelican and got it in two days without having to pay for speedy shipping. I bought the Pierburg one and could not be happier. It went in very smooth except for that one bolt, like always on anything. I do think that German's must have very small forearms, mine seemed to be too big and scraped against everything.
Good news is the impeller on the old one was Composite and was intact.
