Strip of Foam in the Air Vent - not the Green Stuff


I found this piece of foam in the passenger side dash vent. Anyone know where it comes from? I am thinking it is from one of the blend doors.

Welcome to the club
I have gotten a few of these out of my vents. If you try the "Wind distributor" positions on the HVAC system I bet it blows air out of all them regardless of where you have it set.

my vents had foam stuck around them. My guess was more of a stop vibration vs sealing.
