Recurring CEL Code P0605 Issue

I've had a recurring CEL after having my chip flashed, which reads:

Troubleshooting P0605
Definition
Internal control module read only memory error
or
(ROM)
Explanation
Failed ECM

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The year and model of the car is always important in these conversations, but P0605 is EEPROM communications failure in the DME.

Check the condition of the wire and connectors to the DME. Check to make sure that they are clean and firmly mated. Then clear the code.

If the code returns, contact the folks who flashed the DME.

Thanks, gents. It's a 1998 base Boxster. I had FabSpeed install their race exhaust, headers and CAI, flash the chip. They did a great job and are trying to find the root cause of the issue but I live several hours from their shop.

Thanks again for the suggestions.
