Being a tight wad.... rear track arm

Does someone make a replacement bushing I can install to repair a worn out rear track arm?

Hello Health,

I have seen here, people mentioning about a company that sells suspension components (on exchange basis) that have new bushings installed on them, unfortunately I cannot remember the name...

They are about as expensive as the replacements. I just figured if there was a way to put the bushing in myself it would be even less expensive.

I found one manufacturer that sold replacement bushings - they were $120 - hardly worth the savings.

I just replaced the track arms on my S, the arm uses a ball joint...I cant see how a bushing can do the same job ??

You can take yours off and "peen" the rolled flange to tighten one up....not sure how long this will last...but you could try it and see.

Ah, I saw the version where the joint was replaced with a bushing as seen in the above post. I guess the arm is machined to allow a bushing in there.
