He hit 1st on a 2nd gear upshift?!
Seriously, buy an old Corolla, Civic or Cavalier for him to beat up on and wreck until he figures it out.
Probably less $$ that way than a clutch & tranny for the Boxster...

I know. all of our other cars are automatics. I put him in one of the old ranch trucks a couple of weeks ago but its nearly impossible to stall. low gearing and big diesel engine.
