If it was driven and maintained right, this car will sell fast.
Not sure which is worse, bunch of short trips that barely warm up the engine or long trips followed by long stretches of sitting. Either way, I wonder how that engine is holding up, my 01S had a bunch of parts needing maintenance at 87k when I bought it 3 years ago. This car maybe had 3 oil changes in its lifetime, unless it was serviced every year. GL to the buyer. I’m sure it is a good car based on the pictures.

Well, there is a middle ground there. During the winter months, I drive my Boxster once a week, about 20 miles each time, just to give it exercise. But it gets fully warmed up, and when warmed up, I'll gun the rev's to 5k or 6k and drive it like I stole it. And then I let it sleep for a week. That's a heck of a lot better than ten trips of 2 miles each a day apart or one trip of 500 miles and then letting the car sit for 4 months.

Machines need exercise, just like you and me.

Agreed. I've always heard that short trips are bad on a car, because if it doesn't get up to operating temperatures it won't burn off moisture and cause problems.
