The headlights are mercedes e class, and the fenders are 100% metal. There are many small custom touches, like no third brake light, genuine 550 spyder grab handle, and more I can’t reme offhand.
I agree the retro theme went overboard as rear grilles, headlight stone guards, James Dean there (
) and taillight covers are a bit much.
However, you must remember this car was built when the 986 was a couple years old and a common complaint were the “fried egg headlights”.
This is the car that got me into Boxster. Coincidentally, my own Boxster is Artic Silver
