2000 Porsche Boxster S

I called about this one. I can't quite make the numbers work for me at $5k to rebuild it, but it was close. Not a bad deal and easily 5K in parts. LN IMS, Maintained, Recent PPI. Seller is likely to keep it unless you bring cash soon.

...and Welcome to the forum (seller) if you followed my advice.

This one has been up for a few months now and I checked it out before buying a different 2000 Boxster S. He purchased at auction a few months ago and it had all sorts of issues. Needs brake rotors and pads, paint was peeling, CV boots were broken and leaking, oil leaking, etc. Also it had ~8k more miles than stated. I'd stay away from this one.

Here's a fun one:
"1986 Porshe 911" for only $2200!
Not much right with that ad.

Not sure I want to ask about the "Extra things" in his trunk.
The engine looks really clean though.

Do you think this will buff out? 2014 Cayman S

Seriously, do you think the math works on this? Seems like a similar car with no damage and a clean title would cost around $60k. This car needs a front bumper and hood, front wheel, tires, right rear suspension and maybe a rear bumper at a minimum. And with something like this there are always a few surprises discovered once repairs begin. What do you think it would cost to fix and how much less would it be worth with a salvage title?

Why?

Not sure why you'd spend the time, effort, and $$$ building this.

OMG that has to be the most expensive '93 Delta 88 on this planet. Wow. I personally wouldn't give him a nickle for that POS.

You're right, I was a little harsh. I was harsh in my typo because I gave it too much credit and called it a '93 and not the '83 it is. But to be honest, I hate that car. I had a shop teacher that drove one when I was in HS and he would pull us off our legitimate project work to work on it almost every week. That red crush velvet interior is still stuck in my head.

Oh I see . . . It's a Porshe . . . Not a Porsche . . . That explains it!

That car brings a new meaning to the word 'sleeper'. O sure it goes like Hell but, imagine that thing in a turn on a bench seat no less.

I had the same car, white Delta 88 with red velour interior. Super comfy, and whereas it was free (Parents were pissed at the dealer for only allowing $500 for it as a trade-in so they gave it to me), it was one of only two automatics I ever had. So comfortable, so large, so smoke-scented. Many a night was spent cruising with with my girlfriend in the front, and 15-18 friends stretched out in the back. We were kings.

https://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/cto/5733675068.html anyone seen this? Thoughts? There has to be a reason it hasn't sold yet.. Maybe it just needs a new driver side seat or to have re upholstery done? (And obvious $5000 Boxster maintenance "surprises")
