That's the black car that the owner made his own Ztop style fastback. Its been on here before when for sale then. I guess it didn't sell so he's trying this version.

I was kidding some guy in another thread about his dodge Daytona rear wing but this has that one beat for sure. Put some big stickers on there and you could qualify for a dirt track race

Wow!!!

Lowest mileage car I think I've ever seen. Hard loaded too.

Want a new car for $30K off sticker?

Sadly, it's still a 7 YO car and according to KBB, trade-in value is 39K at most. So whoever the previous owner was, they just threw 50K down the drain because they got no use out of it whatsoever.

It never ceases to amaze me when people buy a nice car and not drive it. I bought my '97 in August of 2015 and it only had 16,000 on it. And the kicker, I am the fourth owner.

It must be a net worth thing? Impulse purchase? I saw it, liked it, bought it, didn't need it, never drove it much, moved on to something else?

Maybe it was a concurs car. There was an 08 GT3 for sale several yrs ago and the ad said the only mileage on the car (it was VERY low too) was from driving it into and out of a trailer for car shows. It's not a car in that situation, it's art.

Hopefully this one had the gas flushed out. Someone will buy it thinking they're getting a brand new car and will find they have a lot of maintenance to catch up on - tires, oil, serp belt, maybe trans flush.

But it's still a stunning car in that combo and all those options.

Not on craigslist but thought I’d share.

Check this out. About 800 miles/year. Clean car.

Wow! That's a rare specimen. A 2004 Orig Owner car with 12k. One big question is, was it driven regularly 800 miles per year throughout each year, or did it sit for a long time at some point. Also, was it 2,000 short trips of 6 miles each? Annual oil changes done?

If it was driven and maintained right, this car will sell fast.

Not sure which is worse, bunch of short trips that barely warm up the engine or long trips followed by long stretches of sitting. Either way, I wonder how that engine is holding up, my 01S had a bunch of parts needing maintenance at 87k when I bought it 3 years ago. This car maybe had 3 oil changes in its lifetime, unless it was serviced every year. GL to the buyer. I’m sure it is a good car based on the pictures.

Well, there is a middle ground there. During the winter months, I drive my Boxster once a week, about 20 miles each time, just to give it exercise. But it gets fully warmed up, and when warmed up, I'll gun the rev's to 5k or 6k and drive it like I stole it. And then I let it sleep for a week. That's a heck of a lot better than ten trips of 2 miles each a day apart or one trip of 500 miles and then letting the car sit for 4 months.

Machines need exercise, just like you and me.

Agreed. I've always heard that short trips are bad on a car, because if it doesn't get up to operating temperatures it won't burn off moisture and cause problems.

I am on that site always scouring for something that I need and at a great price.

I just thought I'd start the thread and see where it goes. I'm intending for it to stay Porsche related, but I'm nobody's boss.
It also may do best to clip a screenshot rather than post a link, due to the transient nature of the posts.

Here's what amused me tonight, a "Porshe Boxer" headlight and a Porsche 917 ('73 VW):

That car was called a “Laser 917”. I knew someone who had one. Wasn’t a terrible car, better than a lot of kits.
