Here's a rare Classic from the 70s. "it ran perfect when it was parked" 1978 maybe?
...still just odd enough that I'd consider it. All Original '77 Pacer http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1460778850.jpg |
Finding a 70s AMC that's not rusty is rare. They made their cars very thin. I didn't know until it was mentioned on the Wheeler Dealers Pacer episode that the doors aren't symmetrical. The passenger door is slightly longer. You have to look carefully in the pics, but you can see it.
Pacer's are so ugly only a mother could love them. The Gremlin at least had some style. |
There's pictures of like 4 different cars in this ad. Seems legit.

Just one side, but a great deal on a Litronic on eBay:
http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1463109444.jpg Note that it's for a "Porshce", so it may not fit our cars. Edit: Also, shipping can probably be 1/2 of what he is asking if you can get him to ship "FedEx Home Delivery". |
|
Wonder why you would take a pic of your car by the ocean and leave the door hanging open (and use it as your main pic)? Kind of like having your pic taken by the ocean with your fly open.

Look what somebody found on craigslist:
Craigslist Find! Abandoned 1970 Gremlin Drag Car http://image.hotrod.com/f/176659013+...n-drag-car.jpg Very cool! Regards, Markus |
That was a labor of love or just bat crap crazy. 9's would have been frightening.

2000 Porsche Boxster S
I called about this one. I can't quite make the numbers work for me at $5k to rebuild it, but it was close. Not a bad deal and easily 5K in parts. LN IMS, Maintained, Recent PPI. Seller is likely to keep it unless you bring cash soon. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1464923301.jpg ...and Welcome to the forum (seller) if you followed my advice. |
2003 S, California car. 120K miles. Asking $8,900. (Not mine and I don't know the seller.)

Here's a fun one:
"1986 Porshe 911" for only $2200! Not much right with that ad. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1465521704.jpg Not sure I want to ask about the "Extra things" in his trunk. The engine looks really clean though. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1465521887.jpg |
Note, it needs everything!

Do you think this will buff out? 2014 Cayman S
Seriously, do you think the math works on this? Seems like a similar car with no damage and a clean title would cost around $60k. This car needs a front bumper and hood, front wheel, tires, right rear suspension and maybe a rear bumper at a minimum. And with something like this there are always a few surprises discovered once repairs begin. What do you think it would cost to fix and how much less would it be worth with a salvage title? |
Why?
Not sure why you'd spend the time, effort, and $$$ building this.

OMG that has to be the most expensive '93 Delta 88 on this planet. Wow. I personally wouldn't give him a nickle for that POS. |
harsh, you are harsh my friend ^
I swear I saw Bob deNiro driving this car, Good Fellas I think |
I haven't since that much velour since........................1983

I had the same car, white Delta 88 with red velour interior. Super comfy, and whereas it was free (Parents were pissed at the dealer for only allowing $500 for it as a trade-in so they gave it to me), it was one of only two automatics I ever had. So comfortable, so large, so smoke-scented. Many a night was spent cruising with with my girlfriend in the front, and 15-18 friends stretched out in the back. We were kings.

That car brings a new meaning to the word 'sleeper'. O sure it goes like Hell but, imagine that thing in a turn on a bench seat no less.

You're right, I was a little harsh. I was harsh in my typo because I gave it too much credit and called it a '93 and not the '83 it is. But to be honest, I hate that car. I had a shop teacher that drove one when I was in HS and he would pull us off our legitimate project work to work on it almost every week. That red crush velvet interior is still stuck in my head. |
Here's a Very nice Porshe Boxter. It has the V-6 turbo, 4-WD, and all the other options.

turbo, spyder, ...right.
Maybe I'm just a bit too skeptical. I'm guessing that this is just an 04 base that had some front end damage and got an aftermarket front bumper, thereby making it a "Boxser turbo".
Boxser turbo http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1473946305.jpg Still, it appears to be a decent 04 with 64k miles, so not terrible. |

I wonder if he swapped the IMS when replacing the clutch.. "Lots of new parts like new turbo front end!" Heh.. |
https://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/cto/5733675068.html anyone seen this? Thoughts? There has to be a reason it hasn't sold yet.. Maybe it just needs a new driver side seat or to have re upholstery done? (And obvious $5000 Boxster maintenance "surprises")http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...b001290cab.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...4dac66ca3a.jpg
