Left Litronic -"Broken"

This could be a very good deal to the right buyer:
I'd buy if I didn't already have too many spares...

"Poor Man's Porsche"

$139000 invested, but obviously not in paint.

Proof you shouldn't be high when typing an ad.

With that wing the Cayman should require wide load lead and follow cars when driven on the road.

What did you find on CL today?

Nothing. Craigs List is literally where you go to be robbed. Had some clown
advertising used toilets with my phone number for over a year. Complained to CL,
nothing done. Finally had to track the SOB down and "convince" him to pull the ad.

Price reduced 1999 boxter...

I'm thinking the price still needs to come down a bit.
Here's a current ad listed 24 days ago:

..and here's the same car listed again 22 hours ago. (Sorry for your loss...)

"...don't wanna sell it but it's a toy we have just sitting, someone hit and ran my wife and it's 1600 to fix eveything..."

I'm guessing that it's going to be a bit more than $1,600 after good a look underneath, ...rear subframe, suspension, etc.

What the heck does "registration is on non opp" mean?

I thought of Ron Ziegler, who famously said "That Statement is No Longer Operative" when I saw that. I interpreted it to mean the registration has lapsed or there is no title.

Really tempted to get this despite the fact that I don't have a need for it. I may get in trouble if more car parts appear in the garage, though.

In California you can register your car this way if you do not plan on driving it:

"If you plan to store and not operate your vehicle during the next renewal year, you may apply for the Planned Non-Operation (PNO) option online. There is a filing fee for the PNO.
The PNO filing fee may be paid up to 60 days prior to the expiration date without late fees. If you file up to 90 days after the expiration date, you will be liable for late fees on the full registration amount.
If at any time the vehicle is operated or parked where it may be subject to citation, then full registration fees and penalties for that year become due."

I've also seen this approach be taken on vehicle that can't registered due to either road worthiness issues or that it won't pass the smog test. I'm a former born and raised long term California native that's seen this done before so buyer beware.
