Classy side vents.

What is everyone's thought on this? I think it looks amazing, particularly on the silver. However I am curious if that would restrict airflow.

Looks like Shark gills to me, not a fan of it. Never liked it on the Camaro either and I love the new Camaros. I've read Chevy isn't going to have them on the 2016 model.

As for air flow, hard to tell if the fins are angled out to force air in.

Going through all that trouble I would have figured out how the get 987 vents on it.

I think it needs twice the slots and a more angular shape. 987 are good but very common...

good enough for the 550 spyder. wasn't the boxster based on the spyder? perhaps if you put some LEDs behind those grilles? wrapped them in faux carbon fiber?

@ The Radiumking.

The car you've showed is not a Porsche 550 Spyder. That is a (ugly) kit car.

This is a Porsche 550 A Spyder:

Really surprised to see such a negative response. I like how it cleans up the side of the car. The original Boxster concept had the intakes down low (they look like reverse side pipes.) and the side of the car looks much better with no indentions IMO.

Maybe a full body picture would do it more justice? Just seem like the wrong car and wrong era for those type of vents.

I'm sorry, but those are all hideous!

I would say "in my opinion", but I'm pretty sure that it's a fact.

I actually like this, but on this car it looks right.

Maybe if he went over the top of the finder it would have been more appealing?
