My Boxster seems to be acting as a recruiting agent for Boxsters amongst my friends
Friend No 1 who's approaching his 50th and had been planning on getting a Harley as his reward, took one look at my Boxster, and a short drive as passenger to become a huge fan. He's now looking for a Boxster that is identical to mine. Cheaper and more fun than a Harley, and the wife can come along in relative comfort!
Friend No 2. Visited these friends on Saturday, both a bit older but total speed freaks. He's currently got a Suzuki 1200 bike which he's now going to sell, partially because his wife has trouble hanging on

He's the only passenger I've had in who wanted me to go faster round the bends

They'd never considered a Porsche before but are now looking for a Boxster. He says it's the closest thing to a bike, which isn't a bike that he's ever been in. Total converts!
Has anyone else experienced the Boxster effect with their friends?
