which spoiler lip to order ? 996 GT3 front bumper

Last year I was lucky enough to purchase a OEM 996 GT3 front bumper cover it is part # 996.505.983.01 which according to web searches is a model year 1999-2001 . The previous owner of this front bumper added a generic rubber lip spoiler which works but I don't care for the look. I think the OEM Porsche spoiler lips look a little more aggressive and probably add some stability at speed. Various web searches have stated I can use a 996.505.986.90 OR a 996.505.986.91 are these two different spoilers ? Or does one supercede the other ? I can't seem to find a definitve answer. Anyone have either of these on their car ? I want to make sure when I order it I get the right one ! Or asked another way what are the part numbers for all of the Porsche spoilers that will fit that GT3 front bumper ? Thanks

I ordered # 996-505-986-91 description is GT3 Cup spoiler lip . Also ordered 15 plastic rivets # 999-507-497-40 . In addition to the rivets I added a few sheet metal screws for some more strength . Hope this helps .

Thanks for responding. I was doing some research and and i found this part number -
996 505 986 00 for the lower lip and it looks to be the one I want. I looked up the part number you sent and I think it's a different one?

No idea , it's possible the part number has been superceded or it may be a different part . If it looks like what you want and the description says it fits then you should be good to go .

Cool, thanks. Still doing some research.

A picture should make it easy. This is the one I want. Is yours the same?
