Skoosh - I've been looking for Sport Design wheels lately for several of my projects.

The Sport Design wheel came in various widths/offsets for different models. For the Boxster (and probably what you have on your car) they were front 7.5/50/18, rear 9/52/18.

For the 996 models they used the same 7.5 front with a 10/65/18 rear. The GT3 used an 8" wheel in the front and a 10" wheel in the rear. You probably don't have wheels off a GT3 as the rear offset (65 mm) is way deep for a Boxster.

A good, used set sells for anywhere from $1000 -$1500 for a set of 4. 8" wheels are pretty tough to find. 7.5", 9" and 10" are fairly easy.

You can tell what you have on your car by looking at the stamped numbers on either side of the valve stem. Width (7.5, 8, 9, 10) is stamped on one side. Offset (50, 52, 65) is stamped on the other.

Rick
