Do you check your lights?

When you're behind a vehicle with lots of chrome or there's a full size truck behind you?

I like to do a light check when I see them all lit.

Yes. Of course. I'll check high beams and fog lights too.

You have far too much energy some times I tell my wife when she's walking to the car to check them.

Yea, checking the brake lights is a little tougher. You have to be really fast to step on the pedal and run behind the car before the lights go out

I check mine in the garage, you can step on the pedal and see them on the closed door

p.s.

A good idea, especially for our older boxsters, have a replacement brake light switch on hand. Backing out of garage one sunny afternoon I noticed I had NO brake lights whatsoever per reflection on garage door. Wayne R. Dempsey's 101 Projects for your Porsche Boxster, p. 288, states they "have a tendency to fail once in a while."
Easy DIY, done from inside car, remove defective switch from just above the brake pedal. No tools required.
Approx $26.00 from Pelican, Suncoast, etc.
