Thanks.
I live in the Milwaukee area. The market is a bit overpriced IMHO. Something like 6 months of housing inventory.

What are you looking for in a house?

I'm out in Delafield, west of Milwaukee about 20 miles.

I can tell you this about Milwaukee and Wisconsin: I was not born here, and I'm not going to die here.

The nice thing about the MKE to KC airline flights is that is is Midwest Airlines.

Make sure your realtor shows you around the White Fish Bay neighborhood. Very charming. The "north shore" of Milwaukee.

Thanks for the input. I have visited Milwaukee for work several times. I do enjoy the down town area, but agree that housing seems to be over priced. I need at least a 3 stall garage for the toys. I am currently looking around the Sussex and Pwauekee area.
I have to agree with Woreilly, Midwest is the best. Mmm, warm cookies.

Pewaukee is nice, a little farther west (5 minutes on I-94) will give you land, a newer house away from the airport, much lower taxes and better schools.

I just built a house in Delafield to move from Waukesha simply because of the taxes and schools.

Send me a PM and I'll give you the information you need.
