Alternatively, I suppose he could use one of those cigarette lighter charger adapters, a company called Deltran makes a product called "Battery Tender" and makes a cigarette socket adapter for it that you can just plug into the wall at the other end. I think if he leaves it plugged overnight, he should have enough juice to pop the frunk, maybe even enough for a start.

Thanks amitmishra4. I spoke to him on the phone and he employed a jump-pack with a male to male lighter connection. Unfortunately he was limited on time and had to return the borrowed Jump-Pack. Will try it later with more juice for a longer period hopefully. There is no power source where the car is being stored.
