I have been thinking the same thing. When the rear spoiler comes up on the freeway it makes the front end feel light. ( I had the same thing with a Miata and I put on the small factory front spoiler and it made it feel much more planted!)
I have been thinking of putting some weight in the front, (I used to do that with my Beetle) or seeing if there is an inconspicuous front spoiler available. So far only seen this one for 986...

When I first got my car I could feel the difference between full fuel and not. It passed. You could try modifying tire pressures to rid that 'skittish' feeling. May indicate your tires are old and not gripping as well in the colder temps.

Get a quality alignment. Sounds to me like your toe needs tweeked.

Boxster alignments suggest a full fuel tank to be done correctly. Yes, I've also experienced the light front end feeling the first time on the drag strip when I went with a quarter tank to keep weight down. The car actually started to feel squirrely as I crossed the finish line.
