What's your daily driver?
I'm new here but thought it would be fun to see what other cars people drive. I apologize if this is a repeat thread. Mine is kind of boring, Volvo XC90.

My other two cars are nothing special but very practical:
2008 Nissan Frontier 2000 Subaru Outback AWD The Boxster only gets out once or twice a week |
Daily driver in the summer 1998 Porsche Boxster. In the winter 2004 Jeep Cherokee.
|
The Boxster is the DD all summer, and a GMC Canyon for the winter

Everyday all year it's the Boxster and the Triumph Daytona.
|
2001 Boxster S or 2006 Range Rover Sport.
|
My DD is a 1999 Carrera 4:

I walk to work, but I have a Navigator L for "daily" type duties. I'm essentially limited to two vehicles because of where I live, and I need something that can tow, so a big truck it is.

E55, Camry and a fleet of trucks
|
2012 Toyota Corolla. 32 mpg :)
|
At least it's horizontally opposed...
DD is a 2007 Subaru Forester XS Premium. Goes like a mountain goat in the snow, just punch it and hang on. Nicely equipped with leather, heated seats an a limo sized sunroof.
|
one of 3 porsches
|
2013 Honda Accord Sport CVT
Boxster mostly once a week. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7485/...d4e1a3_z_d.jpg |
My Boxster is my daily driver.
|
I haven't been behind the wheel of anything other than the boxster in a long time. Id love to get something cheap and fun to disperse my mileage between though! Id love an 80s SL or a Alfa Spider!
|
Now you tell me, Jake...just helped my brother-in-law move this fine '74...too many cars!

I have my choice of 911's; 1999 or 1978...

Well here goes my favourite Daily Driver of all:
http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb2...Jiaotongka.jpg Also have a little VW Passat and.... a Chinese-made mini-van 'dedicated' to transport the dogs (paid $600 for it lol) |
Right now my Box is my DD. I had a ZR2 S-10 that the motor locked up in. Need to toss it on Craigslist and get it out of the driveway.
I'm actually wary of not driving my Box regularly. Isn't it when the car sets for a while that the oil creeps into the IMSB and eats up the grease in the bearing? The car gets decent gas mileage and always fun to drive. Just need some winter tires. |

Summer: 2003 Boxster S, 1999 Ford F-250 diesel or 2007 Honda CBR1000RR. Winter, the truck, unless the roads are dry, in which case I often exercise the Boxster.

Love the 6 series, that's the best body style of any modern bmw if you ask me.
@nine8six you know we deserve a picture of this van! |
I forgot about this one. I drive it every chance I get!

Has a Turbo... and when that turbo kicks-in the motor swings the wipers so fast two flew off the car on different days. I wish I'd be joking. Also, I can fit 3 adults comfortably - one in the front - one in the middle - and one in the back :D Second hand: 12,500km, 3months warranty, $600. Beat that brotha |

You are absolutely right, above 80km is asking for trouble so no highways, etc. Speed limit on sec roads is 60 so we're sort of okay on that but still... extremely dangerous, but there I'll say it "it's fun" lol Had it for over 24months and put on 1,500km on it max. Its a good car don't get me wrong. extremely useful. Dog's van - not mine |
2003 Boxster, year round (except when riding the K100RS).
|
Chevy Traverse, boring but useful as all get out...........

It's mostly the Box to work and home. 55 mile round trip. If the roads are muddy it's the Honda Civic. I'm an Engineer. I have this constant struggle between driving the sexy Porsche and the practical, efficient, cost effective, reliable Honda Civic. It only needs gas/oil/tires. However, My Porsche has not required a lot of maintenance in 1.5 years and nearly 30,000 miles of driving.Just front tires when I bought it and brakes. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1418595018.jpg
