How do you like the Sierra and why did you choose it over other comparable models of other marks

Some of us have property and other tasks than just our jobs, and a pick up truck is just another tool. **Some** Porsche drivers are jerks too, don't stereotype pick up truck drivers unless you are open to having the tables turned.

That said, the pick up drivers with 4X4s that have big rims and low profile mud grips are the problem children. A low profile offered tire makes no sense to me, those guys are usually the posers of the crowd :-)

It has 200K miles and all I've done to it is a water pump. I towed race railers with it for years and it has an overload of porcelain tile in the bed right now.

Mine is a 2003 and I like it better than the newer ones. It has an AFE exhaust and intake that I further modified, and an Edge Juiced programmer and has averaged 26 MPG over its 200K miles. I have hit over 30 MPG with it before, and even 20-23 while towing a 30' trailer. Mine is a 2WD which helps with MPG, I have two 6x6s and 4 other 4x4s, so I didn't need a 4x4 PU truck too.

Its used Joe Gibbs Driven DP40 for years, as the truck was part of the development of that oil. It has a new test oil being ran in it now.

On the dyno it made 505 RWHP and 680# of torque. I like it.

Some of my scariest encounters were various dilapidated 40 year old p/u trucks driven by AARP men, tailgating me on the interstate north of Atlanta, heading to flat6innovations! :eek:

Because they were hauling North Georgia's finest in the back and didn't want to get busted..

There's a street in town where every Friday & Saturday night the kids cruise, race, and roll coal with their trucks. I told my daughter if I ever caught her hanging out with them she'd be in trouble. Four years later she's married to one of those guys. I didn't think much of him, 'till one day he had to replace some leaking seals on his transmission.
He had driven three hours to visit my daughter and had to fix it before he drove back. His lifted truck was too tall to fit in my garage, so in rainy 40 degree weather he dropped his transmission, pulled and replaced the seals working under a tarp and was on his way back home that evening. Hard working, determined, and not much of a complainer. I'll grant that he can roll coal and sling a little mud from time to time.

I met my wife out street racing at the cruise hangout 33 years ago, we have been together since then. Now my driving scares her! :chicken: :confused:

My favorite was a truck I saw the other day

stupid big lift, triple shocks, big wheels and off road tires
then I looked underneath the front of the truck..
no front diff, it was a 4x2! and on the back was a 4x4 label
POSER!!!
