Wow are asking prices high!!!!

I've looked all over, including Craigslist, and did notice that car. I could never buy a green car, it's just not me. Looks like it is in good condition.

I keep going back to the 02 S at the dealer with the dent. Asking 16,900. I offered 11K and they weren't interested. Not sure I can goto 15K on a car that would need immediate expense in PDR.

That's a pretty low offer. Bet you could get the car for 14 or so, which is pretty close to what it's worth, particularly with low miles. I wish you luck, make a slightly more reasonable offer, going into winter and you'll get the car for under 15 I bet.

If the dealer gets back to me today regarding an estimate for the repair then I will head there again today to check it out in more detail.

a few months back we bought a 2001 s with <30,000 miles on it..a nice garage princess...paid 17500 with tax tags and title...I have no buyers regret on this one...fun car and my love to tool around in it...

I sold a '01S with just less than 70k miles on it for $13.5k 2 years ago and had people lined up who wanted it. Needed nothing and came with lots of extras (parts, docs, tools, cover, etc).

Offer is in on the 02 S with the dent. Let's see what they have to say. Originally advertised for $16,995 and now $15,995. According to them arrangements will be made next Monday for the car to goto auction.
