				Movie Car chase scenes

What is your favorite car chase scenes in a movie? Ronin & White Lightning are 2 of my favorites beyond all the usual nominees.
Here is some behind the scenes info from a local cine-photographer friend of mine:

Anything by Bill Hickman. Bullitt, The French Connection , or especially The Seven-Ups.
Bill must've had a HUGE set to drive like he did, in less than controlled conditions.

The original "Gone in 60 seconds" Mustang chase and to Live and Die in LA. But yes, Bullitt is right there at the top of the list.

				+1 Bullitt

But, I must give a tip of the hat to the car chases in the Jason Bourne movies. Love the one in Moscow.

			Smokey and the Bandit
Blues Brothers... the over the top absurdity of this one is excellent

A little different than the usual car chase formula of weaving through crowded city streets, but I'd say Vanishing Point, and also Duel. The latter being a movie where actor Dennis Weaver is stalked by a pure evil looking tanker truck across 2 lane Californian roads. I think that was actually Stephen Spielberg's first movie.

Not a chase scene but the boxster is a star in the movie mullholland drive. This movie may be my personal favorite. It is universally renowned by critiques as the best movie of the 21st century.

The excellent Moscow chase was in The Bourne Supremacy. The Paris chase in Identity was also really good, as was the NYC chase in Ultimatum.
