Maybe it's because I'm new...
I can't say "My Porsche", or, "My Boxster" without developing a big grin.
Short of suffering a loss, does that symptom of ownership ever go away???

I sure hope not... I still get me a ****************-eatin' grin on whenever I stroll out to the garage.

Still happens. Now I wonder what people think when they see me grinning after I walk out the car. They are prob thinking what's wrong with him?!!! If they only knew.

You would think after so many years and over 230K miles of driving one of these machines I would get tired of it… NOPE! ABSOLUTELY NOT! In fact I can’t imagine not having a Boxster in the stable. I tell everyone that makes a positive comment about the Jägermobile, “I highly recommend owning one”, but then I realize it’s not for everyone. I like to maintain my Boxster and have the skills to do so, not everyone can do that.

The only time it stopped was when I did not own one. I was really said for a few years.

I've been driving Porsches for 30 years. I still grin every time I climb in one and turn the key.
Have fun with yours!

While I would say that I still look back at it every day after its parked and I walk away, I will be devils advocate on this one, I see that a sense of sprezzatura is a always healthy.

+1 On Never Goes Away
Bought my first Porsche in 1981. My Boxster is my fourth P car, and the feeling never goes away. I have a free standing garage for the Boxster and even in the dead of winter I stop by to stand and stare, and tell her good weather is just around the corner.
