Brembo makes Porsche's brakes?

I noticed the last week when I removed my old(original) brake pads from my 99' Boxster that they had Brembo on them. I thought the pads where made by Textar and Pagid for Porsches?

I believe they are all Brembo. The 928 calipers and original pads are Brembo and I'm pretty sure it's been that way for quite awhile with all of the P-cars....but I could be wrong.

Hi,

You're both right. Textar and Pagid make the OEM Pads, but there is a Factory Upgrade - Option Code M476 - High Friction Brake Pads and these are made by Brembo. Hope this helps...

Hi,

They are made, but I cannot find anyone in the US carrying them. While advertised as Street/Track Pads, from some of the reviews I've read, the tend to be much more of a Track Pad. From what I could search, Pagids seem to be the preferred Pad for the Brembo Brake systems.
