That's one good-looking Seal Gray, right there.

Roger Beasley Collision Center on Metric. They're the certified repair facility in town. Most conversations with other shops started with. "We don't do a lot of exotics"

Always feel sorry to see a Boxster got crushed,
but glad your Boxster looks like before!

Happened to have someone hit my Boxster recently too

Some neighbor was in a hurry to pick up his wife...and my Boxster was the ONLY car in a public parking lot...so he was backing out of his driveway...a little bit too ambitious...and STUCK!

...LUCKILY I was just on my way back to my car...noticing another car right next to mine. I thought...hm...that's kinda close to my rear drivers side...a little bit too close...OH NOES...he was stuck. I had to assist him to back out of my car without causing more damage.

Long story short, I knew that person, luckily just deep scratches in the rear fender...no dents...paintshop and insurance did their job well without any problems, looks like before!

Sometimes I think...people...there must have been a full moon...

It looks fantastic again!
I certainly feel for what you went through. Many years ago, I restored a Pontiac Bonneville convertible, doing most of the work myself since I was a struggling college student. Wasn't perfect, but was my pride and joy. Went into a store for literally five minutes, came back out, and my whole rear quarter panel was caved in. I about collapsed! I got it fixed reasonably, but man! There's a special place in hell for characterless, ignorant, unaccountable scum like that. :(
That had to have been a fairly hard hit to do that to your hood. Glad it's back in top form.

Dodge Ram Truck rear-ended me while stopped at a light WTF! I just changed plugs and was going for a nice sunny ride; Insured is a company and I will get my revenge through factory repairs, DIV, and rental car (hopefully a Porche).

Coaster, did the cameras show anything? You never got back to us on finding the culprit.

same thing happened to me...

I got my Box in trade (dead, very 8yrs)...

first day parked outside garage (ever) \, a gift of a huge dent/scrape on Pass rear fender...

all in the time it took me to run up stairs to pour and sugar my coffee.

Of course my neighbor (who hit another car recently & denied it till busted by whiteness) had just left the driveway...

never could prove it.

********************.

so, in short my condolences, I'm still working on not letting the event taint my mind.
