LED Daytime Running Lights and add-on LED lighting for interior or exterior car use.

Also, think about the notion of "DRL Controller"

Quote:
Want to improve your Daytime Running Lights? Now you can with the DRL Controller!

The excellent Daytime Running Light Controller is a must have essential for anyone who owns a DRL. The Audi style controller is designed to adjust the DRL brightness when headlights or sidelights are switched on to prevent glare and also your indicator light will switch off the corresponding side of the DRL lights to help other road users clearly see your intensions.

How it works:
•The DRL controller cannot be tested on a standard 12V supply it must be connected your vehicle battery. See instructions.
•After starting your engine both DRL lights will switch on automatically.
•When you switch your headlight bulbs on the DRL lights will decrease in brightness by 40% automatically to prevent glare.
•When using your indicators the corresponding side of the DRL lights will switch off automatically and once the signal light has turned off the DRL light will switch back on automatically.
•Once your engine is completely off the DRL lights will turn off about 40 seconds later.

I had some bulbs in my Fog lights for DRLs that had like 15 or so leds each and and a fake looking bluish tint (better than nothing). One started to flicker from at least one LED and it looked bad.

I replaced them today with OPT7 H7 CREE LED DRL Fog Light Bulbs - 5000K Bright White- Plug-n-Play (Pack of 2) for around $32/pair, and OMG they are brilliant and have a beautiful bright white beam (like every new car DRL). These are fantastic.....!!!!

Great hack. Way more effective than the things I had in there before. Get these....

Great to hear.

I had these bulbs in my Amazon cart, but was holding off. After seeing your positive review I took the plunge and ordered them tonight.

I'm a firm believer that we need good lighting on our little cars - if they can see us then hopefully they don't pull out in front of us.

thanks!

You're so right. I've had several very serious close calls driving the dark colored Boxster in daylight where people cut across my path like I'm not even there. It's more than bad drivers....They just didn't see me. Now that approx 70% of cars have DRLs, the cars without them "don't exist" in some people's vision.

You'll like these bulbs. You probably should raise the beam of the fogs once they're installed. They will be aiming low and won't be as effective at that angle. I turned 'em 5 full turns clockwise and wrote it down so I could undo it if necessary.

Thanks for the tip on aiming them up higher.
