I bought my 2003 2.7 in Feb this year and although the service book was stamped up to date, I didn't have many receipts or service sheets to back them up, so, I emailed all the garages and dealers that serviced the car and requested copies.....3 weeks later and after all data protection protocols followed and I have a full history including advisories and all worked carried out .... particularly impressed with the 2 main dealers who sent me the invoices and job sheets within 24 hours of my request............ on topic though, I have contacted previous owners on other cars in the past and always found them helpful and willing to share info, as have I when contacted.
