Market Price for a Factory 986 Hardtop?

What is the current going rate for a mint Factory 986 hardtop?

I've seen $1000 - $2000

Is the color what makes the price difference?

The ones I see sell are usually in the $800 - $1,000 range.

I think location is more of a differentiator than color, due to them being pricey to ship.

Sent you a PM.

Rick

I bought a basically brand new used one from a member of this forum for $1500 in LA, including all mounting hardware and latch covers. I was able to pick it up so I didn't have to pay shipping, which probably wouldn't have been cheap. I love it:dance:!

Don't forget the seasonal variation - just like umbrellas when it starts to rain - less expensive in spring/summer, more expensive in fall/winter.

Factor in the locking hardware, which will run you another $100 or so, IIRC.

Paid $1000 for mine. It was the newer style. In mint condition arctic silver so it matched my 99 perfectly. don't use it much though but nice to have
