standing water behind the brake booster

Could this be condensate collecting from the air conditioning component (dryer?) ? I suspect leaves clogging a drain hole somewhere in there. The standing water is hard to see in the picture. Any solution?

There are multiple drain holes in that front compartment - firewall area. In that picture there should also be an arrow in the left side near that wire loom - if I am not mistaken.
