Previous owner visiting my Box

I bought my Box as a roller (Dreaded IMS failure). The woman I bought it from is a friend of mine and replaced the car with a Maserati Spyder. Her comment on the two was that she likes the Spyder's acceleration, but she misses the Boxster handling. I'm taking her to lunch so she can drive her baby again. Overall it seems she'd take the Boxster over the Spyder but for the IMS, which bit her.

Sounds like it worked out well for everyone - at least until she says that she wants to buy the Boxster back!

Maybe her story about the two cars is a metaphor and she's meeting back up with you for another reason?

I love the spyder, if they had a local place to maintain them or were just a bit cheaper I would really be interested (unrealistically) in one. But hey, if lunch goes well maybe you'll be pretty open to driving either fairly often .

Nah, we're both happily married (to someone else!) and just friends, though it would be nice to drive the Spyder before she sells it. She tried to make it a daily driver, but it is always in the shop, and parts cost are very high.

Is it just me, or does the Maserati Spyder look like a Chrysler Sebring?

I bet she's really missing the Boxster

Wasn't the Chrysler's TC a joint venture with Maserati? Thought Iacocca and De Tomaso were good buds. They seemed to have rubbed off on each other.
