jdlmodelt 06-03-2014 07:53 PM

Tonight I drove home with the windows down and just enjoyed the sound and feel of the breeze.

schnellman 06-04-2014 03:42 AM

I prefer the Flat Six Symphony. But, when my wife's on board we listen to Vivaldi's 4 Seasons.

Pdwight 06-04-2014 04:09 AM

A very old Queen song

Im in love with my car

Perfectlap 06-04-2014 08:30 AM

This song is legendary top down stuff.... a gift from the Beiber generation

(Note the ratio of thumbs up to down)
Friday - Rebecca Black - Official Music Video - YouTube

Pdwight 06-04-2014 08:52 AM

Oh No

Dont even mention Queen in the same breath as Beiber ....that is like comparing a Carrera GT with a Yugo.....Queen made so many breakthrough contributions to rock music. Brian May is truly a legend in his own time.

Radar Love......

jmatta 06-05-2014 01:41 PM

I rarely drive with tunes, but one of my favs is "Open Car" by Porcupine Tree...yeah, and I used to listen to alot of "Highway Star" in my early days.

mgfranz 06-05-2014 06:18 PM

long and winding road or life in the fast lane

thstone 08-04-2014 11:49 AM

Sound system delete in the Spec Boxster so its just me and the beautiful wail from the flat-six through the Top Speed Pro-1 exhaust! I prefer Tracks 5K-7K, but I'll listen to 5 hours of 3K on the drive from LA to Laguna Seca. :)

gmboxster 08-04-2014 12:19 PM

"Got to be some changes made" by Albert King. Or "Hells Bells" by AC/DC.

Giller 08-04-2014 01:16 PM

Summer of '69 - Bryan Adams and Magic Carpet Ride - Stepphenwolf

Fire up the Box and crank up the tunes....these songs always get me in the zone for a ride with the top down.

818BoxsterS 08-04-2014 01:35 PM

Excuse my music. Could be due to my age but if I am cruising I listen to Let her go by passenger and if I'm having some fun it's 0-100 by drake.

An obvious and excellent call.

But really, it becomes all a matter of your taste and age. I think most Boxster owners are Boomers, so their preference will be 60's, 70's and early 80's rock. But some might think Beethoven's' 5th or 9th symphony or Wagner's Valkyre or the 1812 overture are great. The William Tell Overture (Lone Ranger theme) could be a preference.

You could even make a case for Sound of Music or Mary Poppins soundtracks.

I prefer Styx, Journey, REO and Triumph, but many of the others listed here work, too.
