Boxster S?

So, a sticker under my read trunk lid with the dealer signature on it has printed on that sticker "Boxster S". Mine is a 1999 with a lot of options. Was there such a thing in 1999 with the 2.5l engine but a lot of bling add-ons?
thanks,
James

No. S is 3.2. Came out after the base. Bigger brakes, several different engine, trans, suspension, brake differences.

THat's what I thought, I just don't understand why the sticker has the wording on it that it does from the factory.

Are you the first owner, the trunk lid could have been replaced at some point with one from an S.

INteresting idea. I'm not the first owner. BUT, I will go check and see if the numbers match the rest of the car.

You nailed it my friend. The rear trunk lid on my 99 2.5l boxster came from a 2000 3.2l boxster S. Haha! LOve it.
