Rear Window - Plastic - How Too

Hey folks - anyone have suggestions how to remove the haze like look from the back rear plastic window? This year my window is so bad that I can barely see out of it - seems perhaps the elements are taking a toll on it. Any products out there to perhaps remove that haze in it? Thanks everyone. Dr.

DC, I was taught by a premier Chicago region concours champion how to clean the haze and the results are truly spectacular. There are numerous products out there, but he recommends 3M Hand Glaze with a dab of Blue Magic on a microfiber cloth. Slowly work the mixture into the plastic and it will remove the haze and minor scratches. When satisfied with the window, follow up with a good coat of Plexus plastic polish. I always keep Plexus in the trunk and apply it often to keep a clear window. My car is 12 years old and the results speak for themselves. Good luck!

rear window haze it mostly oxidation of the plastic, simply using a plastic polish will keep it clear, just like the headlight covers. also the use of a plastic preservative (available at parts stores) is a good suggestion. one with a uv protectant does help.
